SHE SAID YESS!! Joesph contacted me about a week ago with his plan to propose to Morgan! I was so excited to capture this moment! He told me his plan that he wanted to do it at Skidaway Island State Park in Savannah Georgia. His original trail with lookout tower was under construction, so he then found Sandpiper trail. It was perfect for a coastal proposal!

Joesph and Morgan met briefly in 2014 at Georgia FFA State Convention, they followed each other on social media and that was it. Until 2019, Joesph began teaching at Burke County High school in Waynesboro Georgia and Morgan was studying Education at Georgia Southern in Statesboro Georgia (about an hour away). They started by talking about the classes she was taking at Georgia Southern. Then with southern charm, he offered to cook dinner one night and the rest is history!

I got to the trail early to scope out the perfect spot. After searching the entire trail I sent Joesph three spots and he picked the perfect one! It was right before a corner, that had a perfect view to see them coming and still be hidden! It was finally time I could see them starting on the trail and as they got closer to the spot, I moved closer to capture the big moment! Joesph stop towards the end of the boardwalk and got down on one knee. Morgan was totally surprised! After she said yes he turned and pointed to me taking pictures, she was even more surprised! The moment was full of joy and excitement about their future!

I let them take in the moment and then we capture a few pictures of the newly engaged couple! It was such an honor to capture this moment in their life and I wish them a lifetime of happiness as they embark on this new journey of life! Enjoy my favorites from this beautiful coastal proposal!
