Anna Holiday’s Charleston Senior Session at Hampton Park
Some places become part of your story long before you realize it, and for Anna Holiday, Charleston has been one of those places.
For years, Anna and her family have made Charleston part of their Fourth of July tradition! Returning to the city each summer to celebrate the holiday together. With so many family memories tied to Charleston, it felt especially meaningful when Anna decided to make her senior portraits part of that tradition.
For her senior session, we spent the afternoon at Hampton Park, one of Charleston’s most beautiful hidden gems. Known for its lush gardens, winding paths, towering oak trees, and seasonal blooms, Hampton Park feels like a little escape tucked away in the heart of the city. During Anna’s session, the flowers were absolutely showing off, creating the prettiest backdrop for her portraits.
What I love most about senior sessions like this is when the location has a story behind it. Rather than simply choosing a beautiful place, Anna chose somewhere that already held years of memories for her family. It made the session feel personal from the very beginning.
From walking through the gardens to capturing portraits surrounded by colorful blooms and Charleston’s signature greenery, every part of the session felt timeless and effortless. Hampton Park was truly flower heaven, and paired with Anna’s classic style, it was the perfect setting for celebrating this season of her life.
Senior year is such a significant milestone, and there’s something special about documenting it somewhere that already feels like home. For Anna, these portraits are more than just senior photos—they’re another chapter in a Charleston tradition her family has shared for years.
And what better place to begin her senior year than Charleston?
